A step by step recipe of til mungafali ke laddoo – a very tasty and delicious recipe of sesame, ground nut, coconut and jaggery.

These laddoos are tasty as well as they keeps your body warm in this cool cool winter season.

What are the benefits of sesame, ground nuts, coconut and jaggery? Here is the list-

Benefits of sesame –

  1. It has the ability to prevent diabetes, lower blood pressure.
  2. It prevents a wide variety of cancer, improve digestion.
  3. It eliminates depression and chronic stress.

Benefits of ground nuts –

  1. Peanuts are rich in energy, lowers cholesterol.
  2. They are rich in protein so helps in proper growth development of body.
  3. Fights against heart diseases, nerves diseases, Alzheimer and infections.

Benefits of jaggery –

  1. It prevents constipation.
  2. It detoxes the liver by flushing out harmful toxins from the body.

Ingredients for til mungafali ke laddoo –

  1. Sesame/til -2 cups
  2. Jaggery -2 and ½ cup
  3. Ground nuts -1 cup
  4. Coconut -1/2 cup
  5. Water -1/2 cup

How to make these laddoos? -

  1. Take the sesame seeds in a kadhai and roast them.
  2. Roast them for 5-6 minutes.
  3. They will start to crackle and the color will start to change.
  4. When they are roasted, the sound of cracking will not be there.
  5. Now take them out in a plate.
  6. Now put the ground nuts in the same kadai and roast them.
  7. They will also change their color.
  8. Now after roasting those for about 7-8 minutes remove them from the kadai.
  9. Crush the ground nuts into half.
  10. Make them peel free.
  11. Now grate the dry coconut.
  12. Put the coconut in kadai.
  13. Start roasting it.
  14. Roast it until it turns into a nice brown color.
  15. Remove it from the kadai.
  16. Now take the water in the same kadai.
  17. Put the crushed jaggery into it.
  18. Mix well. It will start melting.
  19. Melt it with a continuous stirring.
  20. Boil it until it is brown in color. But don’t boil in excess otherwise the laddoos will be hard enough to eat. It will take around 10 minutes for this condition.
  21. Now put the til, coconut and ground nuts in it.
  22. Mix well.
  23. Now grease a thali with ghee or oil.
  24. Now take a spoon and start putting small quantity of this mixture into the thali.
  25. Now remake them to make laddoo.
  26. And your laddoos are ready for serving. After they come into room temperature fill them into a jar.

Remove it from the kadai.

Now take the water in the same kadai.

Put the crushed jaggery into it.

Mix well. It will start melting.

Melt it with a continuous stirring.

Boil it until it is brown in color. But don’t boil in excess otherwise the laddoos will be hard enough to eat. It will take around 10 minutes for this condition.

Now put the til, coconut.

and ground nuts as well.

Mix well.
