POTATO CHIPS TO PRESERVE, recipe of homemade salted potato chips for preservation

Step by step recipe of salted potato chips –crispy but soft textured potato chips to preserve. Fry them any time you want to eat.

I think potato chips is every one’s favorite. No one can say no to it. But sometime we feel like readymade chips which we buy from market are not so safe and hygienic. So here is a solution for you to make the chips at home and enjoy with your family and friends.

These chips are very crunchy, soft texture and hygienic. You can preserve them for at least for 1-2 years.

My hubby just loves these chips. They taste better than the chips we buy from the market.

Ingredients for salted potato chips –

  1. Potatoes -1 kg
  2. Salt 1 tsp
  3. Baking soda -1/4 tsp

How to make it –

  1. Peel and put the potatoes in water.
  2. Now slice them in rounds.
  3. Heat water in a large pot.
  4. Add salt and baking soda into it.
  5. Add the sliced potatoes into it.
  6. Let it to boil 50% or check it with your nails that it can press the potato.
  7. Now strain the potato slices in a strainer.
  8. Now spread them on a cotton cloth and let them to dry completely.
  9. After drying fill those in an air tight container and you can preserve them for 1-2 years.
  10. Fry these potato chips and enjoy whenever you want.

Step by step recipe with pictures –
