POTATO CHEESE BALLS WITH SEMOLINA COATING

Main ingredients –mozzarella cheese, potato and semolina

A step by step recipe of potato cheese balls with semolina coating –easy to prepare tasty recipe of cheese balls prepared with potato, onion, capsicum, mozzarella cheese and coated with semolina

Potato cheese balls are a mouth-melting Indian snack dish, loved by kids and adults.

Here I have used boiled potato, cheese cubes, capsicum, onion, green chilies, chopped coriander, corn starch, semolina, all purpose flour, black pepper powder, chili flacks, dry mango powder, oregano and salt to make these delicious cheese balls.

Ingredients to make potato cheese balls –

  1. Boiled potato -4 medium sized
  2. Chopped capsicum -3 tbsp
  3. Finely chopped green chilies -1 tbsp
  4. Chopped coriander -1 tbsp
  5. Chopped onions -1 medium
  6. Mozzarella cheese cubes -7-8
  7. Corn starch -1 tbsp and 2tbsp
  8. All purpose flour -1 tbsp
  9. Red chili flacks -1 tsp
  10. Black pepper powder -1 tsp
  11. Oregano -1 tsp
  12. Dry mango powder -1 tsp
  13. Salt to taste

How to make it –

  1. Mix all the ingredients together except the cheese cubes, 1 tbsp corn starch and all purpose flour.
  2. Now take a small portion of the mixture on your palm and make a peda of it.
  3. Put the cheese cube on it.
  4. And cover to make a ball of it.
  5. Now take 1 tbsp of corn starch and 1 tbsp of all purpose flour in a bowl.
  6. Add 4 tbsp of water to make a smooth paste.
  7. Now put the cheese ball in it.
  8. And cover it with the corn batter.
  9. Now cover the ball with semolina.
  10. Now make all the balls in such way and put them in freeze for about 1 hour.
  11. Now heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
  12. Add the cheese balls in it. Add according to the size of your kadai. I have added 7 at a time.
  13. Stir them frequently with a ladle.
  14. Cook them up to the change in its color.
  15. Now take them out.
  16. Serve hot with tomato ketchup or green chutney.

Gather all the ingredients together in a plate. like potato, capsicum, green chilies, coriander, chili flacks, oregano, black pepper powder, 2 tbsp corn starch etc (I forgot to put onions and dry mango powder in it so I added it later).

Now add it in a mixing bowl with onions. except cheese balls ,1 tbsp corn starch and all purpose flour.

And also the dry mango powder

Now mix all the ingredients together.

Now take a small portion of the mixture on your palm and make a peda of it.

Put the cheese cube on it.

And cover to make a ball of it.

Now take 1 tbsp of corn starch and 1 tbsp of all purpose flour in a bowl.

Add 4 tbsp of water to make a smooth paste.

Now put the cheese ball in it.

And cover it with the corn batter.

Now cover the ball with semolina.

Now take them out.
