Preparation time -15-20 minutes

Servings -2 glasses (500 ml)

Calories -60 calories for 2 glasses

Main ingredients –cumin, cucumber and honey

Step by step recipe of detox water made with cumin, cucumber and honey –this is a detox water to reduce weight specially belly fat. Here cumin is boiled in water for about 10 to 15 minutes and then added the sliced cucumber and rested it for 10 minutes. Then in serving add 1 tablespoon honey in this water and have it.

It should be warm while you intake it.

As its been 10 months of my delivery and the belly fat is bothering me so much, so I searched lots of sites to see a healthy solution to reduce it. And I found some recipes to detoxify and believe me these recipes are awesome.

Some health benefits of the ingredients used in this detox water –

Cumin –

  1. Cumin is a good source of energy, vitamin A, C, E and B6, thiamine, riboflavin, niacin.
  2. It is also rich in protein and amino acids, carbohydrates, dietary fiber and s reasonable amount of fats and fatty acids.

    4. It treats Asthma and Bronchitis.
    5. It increases lactation.

Cucumber –

  1. It keeps you hydrated.
  2. It fights heat, both inside and outside.
  3. It flushes out toxins.
  4. It nourishes you with vitamins like A, B and C.

Honey –

  1. It helps to prevent heart disease and cancer.
  2. It reduces ulcers and other gastrointestinal disorders.
  3. it reduces cough and throat irritation.
  4. It helps to regulate blood sugar.
  5. It heals wounds and burns.

Ingredients for cumin cucumber detox water –

  1. Cumin -1 and ½ teaspoon
  2. Water -2 and ½ glass
  3. Cucumber -10-15 thin slices
  4. Honey -1 teaspoon

How to make it –

Boil the water with cumin until it remains 2 glasses. Now switch off the flame and add cucumber slices in it. Let it to be until it is warm.

Now add the honey in it.

Strain and enjoy.
