Step by step recipe of mix veg rava dosa –very tasty and healthy recipe of semolina, which has a healthy twist of vegetables.

This is another variation in normal rava dosa. Some people in north India call them khandavi. Even my husband used to call it khandavi. And first time he only cooked for me this mix veg rava dosa by the name khandavi.

you can also add vegetables of your own choice such as carrots, peas and capsicum.

This dosa is a quick recipe to make and does not need much time for fermentation.

Its another variation in south Indian dishes.

Step by step recipe with pictures –

Take curd in a mixing bowl.

Add semolina to it.

Add salt to it.

Add salt according to your own taste.

Mix well and leave the batter for 2 hrs aside.

If your veggies are not finely chopped, then chop them. Or you can also grate them. But I like chopped one so that they give a crunchy bite to your dosa.

Now add the chopped vegetables to it.

Mix well and also add the crushed curry leaves to it. Mix well and keep aside.

Now take 2 tablespoon full of oil in a ladle or pan, temper it with mustard seeds.

Pour this oil on semolina mixture.

Mix well to make the dosa.

Now heat a tawa.

Take a ladle full with this mixture.

Spread it over the tawa.

Now drizzle a teaspoon of oil around and onto it.

Cook it on a low to medium flame so that it doesn’t burn from below.

When it is dry from above then flip it.

Cook from both the sides.

Serve hot with sauce/green chutney/peanut chutney/coconut chutney.
