Palak Puri Recipe, recipe of how to make spinach puri

Servings -10-12 puris
Main ingredients –spinach and wheat flour
Step by step recipe of palak puri –palak puri is nothing but a flatbread made with spinach and wheat flour, they are deep fried in oil.
This palak puri is also have a hint of garlic and green chili. It tastes so good that you don’t need any complement with it.
You can have it with tea as well. It has spinach, garlic, green chilies, sesame seeds, cumin seeds and carom seeds in it. That enhances its taste so well.

So without wasting any time lets move on to the recipe-
Ingredients for palak puri –
- Wheat flour -2 cups
- Spinach -2 cup chopped
- Green chili -2
- Garlic cloves -8-9
- Sesame seeds -1 tsp
- Cumin seeds -1 tsp
- Carom seeds/ajwain -1/2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil as required
How to make it –
- Make a puree of spinach, garlic and green chilies.
- Add this puree to the flour.
- Also add sesame seeds, cumin seeds, carom seeds and salt to it.
- Knead hard dough of it.
- Use water if required for kneading the dough.
- Now apply some oil and make small balls of the dough.
- Roll the puris.
- Heat enough oil in a kadai for deep frying.
- Now fry the puri in medium flame.
- Serve hot with curry and raita.

Gather all the ingredients for making the puris.
Make a puree of spinach, garlic and green chilies.
Transfer the flour in a mixing bowl,
Also add sesame seeds, cumin seeds, carom seeds and salt to it.
Add this puree to the flour.
Knead hard dough of it. Use water if required for kneading the dough.
Now apply some oil and make small balls of the dough.
Roll the puris with the rolling pin.
Prepare all the puris in the same way.
Heat enough oil in a kadai for deep frying.
Place your puri in the hot oil.
Now fry the puri in medium flame until golden in color.
Serve hot with curry and raita.
