A step by step recipe of aloo matar parantha –whole wheat flour parantha stuffed with boiled potato and peas.

Another crispy recipe of parantha. It’s just a simple recipe of potato and peas.

Here is another variety of aloo ka parantha, by adding boiled peas in it.

Ingredients for aloo matar parantha –

  1. Wheat flour -2 cups
  2. Boiled potato -3 medium sized
  3. Boiled peas -1 cup
  4. Chopped coriander -1/2 cup
  5. Chopped green chilies -1 tbsp
  6. Crushed garlic -1 tbsp
  7. Black pepper powder -1 tsp
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Red chili powder -1/2 tsp
  10. Oil as required

Method of preparing aloo matar parantha –

  1. Take the flour in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add crushed garlic, black pepper powder and salt into it. And knead a soft dough with help of water.
  3. Mash the potatoes and take in a mixing bowl.
  4. Add the boiled peas in it.
  5. Add chopped coriander and green chilies in it.
  6. Also add red chili powder and salt into it.
  7. Mix well to make the appropriate masala.
  8. Now roll the parantha. And spread masala on it.
  9. Now cover it completely and roll again.
  10. Place it on a hot tawa.
  11. Flip it and apply oil on it.
  12. Flip it again and apply oil on it.
  13. Make it crispy by pressing.
  14. Serve hot with green chutney and rayta.

Now cover it from side by side.

   

Apply some dry flour on it.

Roll it again to make parantha.

Place it on a hot tawa.

Flip it and apply oil on it.

 

Flip it again and apply oil on it.

Make it crispy by pressing.

Serve hot with green chutney and rayta.
