PHOOL GOBHI PARANTHA, HOW TO MAKE CAULIFLOWER PARANTHA RECIPE

A step by step recipe of phool gobhi ka parantha –a variety of parantha made with grated cauliflower, onion and mixed spices, stuffed in the wheat flour dough.

Here is another recipe of parantha. (Others are aloo matar ka parantha, methi parantha, bathua parantha, aloo aal pyaj ka parantha and leftover dal ka parantha).

This is also a simple recipe to make. And I know it’s just look like a paneer parantha but it’s actually a cauliflower parantha.

I showed it directly to roll the parantha but you want to know how I rolled and fold it. You can check the recipe of aloo aal pyaj ka parantha.

So lets proceed to the recipe -

Ingredients for phool gobhi ka parantha –

  1. Wheat flour dough -3 cups
  2. Gobhi/cauliflower -1/2 kg
  3. Chopped onion -1/2 cup
  4. Chopped green chilies -1 tbsp
  5. Chopped coriander -1 tbsp
  6. Ginger-garlic paste -1 tbsp
  7. Red chili powder -1 tsp
  8. Garam masala -1 tsp
  9. Dry mango powder -1 tsp
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Oil as required

Method for preparing phool gobhi ka parantha-

  1. Grate the whole cauliflower with a grater.
  2. Now squeeze it in between your palm to remove water from it.
  3. Now take the grated cauliflower in a mixing bowl.
  4. Now add chopped green chilies, chopped onions, chopped coriander, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder and salt.
  5. Also add some garam masala and dry mango powder.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Now roll a roti with the wheat flour dough. (The dough will be same as we knead for other parantha recipes).
  8. Now spread the cauliflower masala on it.
  9. Now cover it and sprinkle some dry flour on it.
  10. Roll it again to make parantha.
  11. Place this parantha on a hot pan.
  12. Flip it.
  13. And apply oil on it.
  14. Flip again and apply the oil on it.
  15. Cook to make crispy by pressing it.
  16. Serve the hot parantha with butter/curd and pickle.
