A step by step recipe of bread croutons –crispy croutons made with bread use in any soup preparation.

Croutons are a crispy bread preparation which we basically use in soup preparations. This is a simple crouton recipe without any flavor of garlic or herbs.

Whenever I make the soups whether its a tomato soup or tomato carrot or any other variety of soup, I do use this croutons. And I feel very glad to see that my little daughter Anvi loves it too.

So you also try this at your home and it will change your boring soup into restaurant style soup.

What you need? -

Ingredients for bread croutons –

  1. Bread -4 slices
  2. Butter/ghee -3 tbsp

How to make?

Method to prepare bread croutons –

  1. Cut the bread in small squares.
  2. Heat the butter in a pan.
  3. Place some chopped bread pieces.
  4. Flip it and cook until crispy. (But be careful they should not burn). Do this entire process on low flame.
  5. Remove from flames and serve with soup.
