MATKA KULFI, how to make malai kulfi at home recipe

A step by step recipe of matka kulfi –an ice cream made with full fat milk and sugar with a nice smell of cardamom.

This is an easiest ice cream to make but very delicious to have. I know it’s quite time consuming recipe, but when u will have it with your family, you will forget everything and will just enjoy the kulfi.

What you need to make this kulfi? –

  1. Milk -2 ltr
  2. Sugar -1 and ½ cup
  3. Cardamom powder -1 tbsp
  4. Crushed cashews and almonds -1/2 cup

How you will prepare it? –

  1. Pour the entire milk in a thick bottom pan or kadai.
  2. Heat it on a high flame until it comes to a boil.
  3. Now lower the flame and boil the milk by constant stirring.
  4. Boil it until the milk comes to its half.
  5. Now add sugar into it.
  6. Boil for another 15 minutes.
  7. Now add the crushed cashews and almonds.
  8. Also add cardamom powder.
  9. Switch off the flame and let it to be cool.
  10. You will see that after cooling its consistency will be thick.
  11. Now pour it in an air tight container.
  12. Set it in freezer for 5-7 hrs.
  13. Cut it into pieces and serve chilled.
