A step by step recipe of kacche aam ka sukha achar/dried mango pickle –a very delicious and very little oil recipe of kacche aam ka achar.

This is my favorite pickle of raw mango. This can last for about 1 year.

The reason why I like this pickle is that, that contains less oil in it. So it doesn’t affect to our health much.

Ingredients for kacche aam ka sukha achar-

  1. Raw mango/kairi -2 kg
  2. Yellow mustard seeds -125 gms
  3. Fennel seeds –125 gms
  4. Fenugreek seeds –1 and ½ tbsp
  5. Red chilli powder –2 tbsp or as par your taste
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Turmeric powder –2 tbsp
  8. Nigella seeds/kaloangi –2 tbsp
  9. Mustard oil –2 cups

Method of dried mango pickle –

  1. Wash thoroughly and wipe the raw mango. Cut them in pieces.
  2. Now add turmeric powder and salt to it.
  3. Place them in a wide pot or plate. And Put them under sunlight for 2-3 days.
  4. After 3 days they will shrink. And there will be no moisture in it.
  5. Take the mustard seeds, fennel seeds and fenugreek together.
  6. And grind them in a grinder up to a coarse powder.
  7. Sprinkle this mixture on the mango.
  8. Also add chili powder, nigella seeds and little salt to it.
  9. Mix it with oil.
  10. Put this into a jar and serve with your parantha or chapatti.
