NAMAK PARE RECIPE, how to make tasty crispy's recipes

A step by step recipe of namak pare –a very delicious and crispy recipe of namak pare made with all purpose flour and wheat flour.

We usually make this recipe on the occasion of diwali or holi. But as par need of my family I used to be ready all the time to make this namak pare.

These namak pare I have made on the same day when I make my mathari. So the photos of mathari and namak pare.

This will fulfill your need as a tea time snack. As the rainy season is going on this will give you a hilarious feeling with garma garam chai.

You can also add semolina/suji as par your choice. And also some kasuri methi to give them a fenugreek taste and flavor.

Ingredients for mathari –

  1. All purpose flour -3 cups
  2. Wheat flour -2 cups
  3. Carom seeds/ajwain -1 tsp
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Oil as required

How to make namak pare recipe –

  1. Take 3 cups of all purpose flour and 2 cups of wheat flour in a large bowl.
  2. Add salt and carom seeds into it.
  3. Also add ½ cup of oil in the flour.
  4. Now mix all the ingredients together. You will get a churma like consistency.
  5. Now pour warm water little by little into it.
  6. Mix well and knead a tight dough.
  7. Now make a little bit large peda with this dough.
  8. Roll it with a rolling pin.
  9. Now cut them vertically with a knife.
  10. Now also horizontally to make a diamond like shape.
  11. Leave them for 1 hour so that they will be dried a little.
  12. Now heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
  13. Fry these namak pare in the oil.
  14. Now take out on a kitchen napkin or a newspaper.
  15. Let them to come on the room temperature and fill in an air tight container.
  16. Enjoy these delicious namak pare with chai.

Step by step recipe with pictures –
