A step by step recipe of aloo matar thepla – flat bread made with wheat flour, boiled potato, boiled peas and spices.

Thepla is basically a Gujarati cuisine but I think its known by everyone in India.

It was just my lezzy preparation to make aloo parantha. I was not in the mood to make the aloo masala and to stuff it in the dough, so I made it simple by adding all the ingredients in the dry flour and knead to make my parantha.

But this kind of parantha is known as thepla in Gujarat. They make thepla and khakhra for their breakfast. And dhokla too.

If you like you can also use ghee instead of oil to make your thepla.

See my other recipes in flat bread –aloo all pyaj parantha, gobhi parantha, bathua parantha, methi parantha, makke ki roti, bajre ki roti and leftover dal parantha.
