Main ingredients –bread and bhaji

A step by step recipe of bread bhaji sandwich – a sandwich made by using leftover bhaji and bread with some slices of cucumber, onion and tomatoes.

This is another a delicious experiment of mine. Here I have used my leftover bhaji to make a delicious evening snack.

I know I am little kanjoos, I don’t want to waste any food item. So I used to do experiments with them. And if have all the leftover ingredients in my hand then to boss party to pakki h.

Ingredients for bread bhaji sandwich –

  1. Bread slices -2
  2. Bhaji -2 tbsp
  3. Cucumber -1/2
  4. Onion -1
  5. Tomato -1
  6. Butter -1 tsp
  7. Black pepper powder- ½ tsp
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Ketchup -1 tbsp

How to make bread bhaji sandwich –

  1. Slice the onion, cucumber and tomatoes. Season them with black pepper powder and salt (you can also add other herb as par your choice).
  2. Mix well and keep aside.
  3. Now take 2 slices of bread, brush the tomato ketchup on them.
  4. Now put the cucumber slices on one bread, then onion slices and tomato slices on the same bread.
  5. Now spread the bhaji on it, and cover it with another slice of bread.
  6. Now heat a pan and take ½ tsp of butter on it.
  7. Put your sandwich on it.
  8. Then flip it and cook.
  9. Press it with a pressure to make it crispy. Cook from both the sides until golden brown.
  10. Serve hot with ketchup or green chutney.

Step by step recipe with pictures –

And tomato slices on the same bread.

Now spread the bhaji on it.

And cover it with another slice of bread.

Put your sandwich on it. Then flip it and cook.

Press it with a pressure to make it crispy.

 

Cook from both the sides until golden brown.

 

Cut it with a knife of pizza cutter.

Serve hot with ketchup or green chutney.
