A step by step recipe of genhu ki roti –a flatbread recipe of wheat flour.

I think this is known by everyone that how to make a wheat flour flatbread. But still I am posting it, because I know so many people are still aware of it.

Roti is most commonly used food item in our country but still there are many people doesn’t know that how to make it.

Here is the solution of it. also see my other rpti recipes such as -bajre ki roti and makke di roti.

Ingredients for roti –

  1. Wheat flour -3 cups
  2. Salt -1/2 tsp
  3. Water to knead it

How to make it –

  1. Take wheat flour in a large bowl.
  2. Add salt in it.
  3. Knead it with the help of water. Add water little by little to knead it.
  4. Now rest it for 5 minutes.
  5. Now take a small portion of the dough and make a peda of it.
  6. Sprinkle some dry flour and roll it with a rolling pin.
  7. Now place the roti on hot tawa.
  8. Flip it and cook for 2 minute.
  9. Now put your roti on bare flame.
  10. Cook from both the sides.
  11. Serve your roti by applying ghee on it. Serve hot chapattis with dal/sabji.

Step by step recipe with pictures –

Take wheat flour in a large bowl. Add salt in it.
