Aloo malaiwale recipe – baby potatoes cooked in the gravy of curd and cashews.

This is a simple and sweet recipe, which is easy and quick to cook.

Ingredients for aloo malaiwale -

  1. Baby potatoes -1 kg
  2. Cashew paste -2 tbsp
  3. Curd -1/2 cup
  4. Cream -1/2 cup
  5. Pure ghee -2 tbsp
  6. Cardamom powder -1/2 tsp
  7. Black pepper -1/2 tsp
  8. Boiled onion paste -3 tbsp
  9. Red chili powder -2 tsp
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Oil as required

Method to prepare aloo malaiwale -

  1. Blanch the potatoes in saline water and then fry them on high flame.
  2. Heat ghee in a pan and add onion paste and sauté until the ghee comes up.
  3. Now add curd, cashew paste, black pepper, cardamom powder and salt in the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Now add potatoes and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Now add chili powder and water as required and cook it until the potatoes cooked completely.
  6. Now finally add cream add mix well. Switch off the flame, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
