APPLE VANILLA CAKE

Apple vanilla cake recipe –a simple sponge cake made with chunks of apple and vanilla essence.

I love baking, yet I don’t know much about baking a cake in microwave, as I don’t have it but then also I keep practicing different kinds of cake in my bati oven. I don’t know how many of you know about a bati oven because bati is basically a Rajasthani cuisine. So if you don’t have it then you can also make this cake in steam.

This cake is made with maida/all purpose flour, sugar, milk, malai, butter, vanilla essence and apple as the main ingredient.

I usually prefer to make such kind of dishes which are low in budget and one can easily get its ingredients, this recipe is also something like that, all ingredients we can get from our kitchen.

Here is the recipe of my apple vanilla cake –this recipe you can also see step by step with pictures.

Ingredients for apple vanilla cake –

  1. All purpose flour -1 and ½ cup
  2. Sugar -1 cup
  3. Vanilla essence -1 tsp
  4. Milk -1 cup
  5. Malai 2 tbsp
  6. Butter – 50 gms
  7. Chopped apple -2 cup

Method to prepare apple vanilla cake –

  1. Mix all the ingredients (except apple) with a hand blender.
  2. Now add 1 and ½ cup of diced apple in the mixture and mix well.
  3. Now Greece a baking tray with ghee or butter.
  4. Now pour the batter in the baking tray and garnish with remaining apple chunks.
  5. Now place the tray on bati oven and bake the cake for 45-50 minutes. For the first 5 minutes bake the cake on high flame then low the flame and bake it for 40 minutes.
  6. Check it with a knife, if the knife comes clear out of it that means the cake is ready then switch off the flame and remove the cake from oven.
  7. Let it be cool and serve.

Step by step recipe –
