Stuffed bhatura recipe - boiled potato masala cooked with onion and other spices stuffed in a bhatura.

This is a complete food recipe you can have this bhatura as you like; you don’t need any chole with it. Serve this bhatura with chutney or any kind of pickle and curd.

This recipe can be a breakfast, lunch, evening snacks or dinner; you can have it any time.

Ingredients for stuffed bhatura –

   For bhatura -

  1. All purpose flour(maida) -250 gms
  2. Semolina(suji) -50 gms
  3. Curd -2 cup
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Sugar -1/2 tsp
  6. Oil -2 tbsp

Ingredients for potato masala –

  1. Boiled and mashed potato -1 cup
  2. Chopped onion -1 tbsp
  3. Chopped green chili -1 tsp
  4. Black mustard seeds -1/2 tsp
  5. Turmeric powder -1/4 tsp
  6. Red chili powder -1/2 tsp
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Oil – ½ tbsp

Method to prepare stuffed bhatura

How to make Potato masala

  1. Heat oil in a pan and temper with black mustard seeds.
  2. When mustard crackle add onion and green chili and sauté.
  3. Now add all spices, and mix well.
  4. Now add mashed potato in the pan and mix it and cook for 1 minute and add chopped coriander and switch off the flame.

How to make Stuffed bhatura –

  1. Mix all the ingredients of bhatura and make a dough of it. and leave it for 1 and 1/2 hrs.
  2. Make a small ball of maida dough and stuff it with aloo stuffing, and roll it with a rolling pin (belan).
  3. After making all the bhatura, deep fry them in hot oil.
  4. Serve these bhatura with chutney or pickle and curd.

Step by step recipe –

Mix all the ingredients of bhatura and make a dough of it.and leave it for 1 and 1/2 hrs.
