Rai wali pani ki mirchi recipe –green chilies dipped in water along with powdered black mustard and salt.

This is a quick and easy to make recipe, which a Rajasthani cuisine. And it goes very well with bajre ki roti, bejar ki roti or genhu ki roti.

This is a very famous pickle in the village areas of Rajasthan; they usually have it with thandi roti and chchaas.

Ingredients of rai wali pani ki mirchi –

  1. Green chilies -1 kg
  2. Water -1 ltr
  3. Black mustard powder –100 gms
  4. Salt to taste

Method to prepare the rai wali pani ki mirchi –

  1. Wash the green chilies thoroughly and boil with half of the water, it should not be overcooked.
  2. Now after boiling, let them cool.
  3. Take them out from water in a large bowl.
  4. Now make a slit in between each chili. And mix the powdered mustard seeds and salt in it along with remaining water.
  5. Now put this in an air tight container. And after three days this pickle will be ready to eat.
  6. Serve this pickle with every meal you have.
