Karonda ki khatti mithi sabji recipe – karonda cooked spices and jaggery.

Ingredients of karonda ki khatti mithi sabji –

  1. Karonda -250 gms
  2. Chopped green chilies -1/2 cup
  3. Red chili powder -1 tsp
  4. Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
  5. Coriander powder -1 tsp
  6. Oil -2 tbsp
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Jaggery -2 tbsp
  9. Black mustard seeds -1/2 tsp

Method to prepare karonda ki khatti mithi sabji –

  1. Cut the karonda in halves and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and black mustard seeds and let them splutter.
  3. Add the chopped karonda, turmeric powder and salt and cook it for 3-4 minutes.
  4. After that add red chili powder, coriander powder and mix well.
  5. Now add the jaggery and cook it for 2 minutes.
  6. Serve hot this karonda sabji as a side dish with daal and fulka or you can also have it with parantha.
