A step by step recipe of homemade pizza base – a very floppy and crispy pizza base recipe.

This is my style to make a pizza at home. People usually make pizza with a readymade pizza base, but here I am using homemade pizza base. It will be a crispy as well as floppy pizza. Once when you will try it, you and your family will love it.

Is pizza base is made up of maida(all purpose flour), baking soda, baking powder, curd and oil.

Just knead dough and leave it for 2-3 hrs to rest for fermentation and then use it for your pizza base.

Ingredients for homemade pizza base –

  1. All purpose flour -3 cups
  2. Curd –as you required to make a loose dough
  3. Baking soda -1 tsp
  4. Baking powder -1 tsp
  5. Oil -3 tbsp
  6. Salt to taste

Method to prepare homemade pizza base –

  1. Sieve thrice the all purpose flour, baking soda and baking powder all together.
  2. Now add salt and oil into it.
  3. Now add curd and mix it with a spoon.
  4. Mix more curd if required to make loose dough.
  5.  Now sprinkle some all purpose flour on the kitchen platform.
  6. Now put the dough on it and knead it with hand. Knead it continuously by sprinkling the maida on it, till it become a soft dough.
  7. Now brush some oil on it and leave it for 2 hrs.
  8. After leaved cut it into half and knead again and leave for another half an hr.
  9. Now take a small part and of the dough and roll it with a rolling pin.
  10. Now heat the tawa and place it on that.
  11. Cook from the sides.
  12. Your homemade pizza base is ready to be used.

Cook from both the sides. it will not be cooked completely, only half cook it.

Your homemade pizza base is ready to be used.
