A step by step recipe of onion carrot raita –an easy, delicious and interesting recipe of raita made with curd, onion and carrots.

Here is my another recipe of raita. Very easy to make and very tasty too.

This is a healthy and refreshing recipe which will give you refreshment and taste to your meal. And it’s so easy to make too.

This raita contains carrots, onions, curd, chopped coriander and some dry powdered spices. This can be served with any rice recipe or with parantha or roti.

Raita recipe is always accompanied with different biryanis or pulav. There is an another recipe of raita, which bathue ka raita.

Ingredients for onion and carrot raita –

  1. Curd -3 cups
  2. Grated carrots -1 cup
  3. Finely chopped onions -1/2 cup
  4. Finely chopped green chilies -1 tbsp
  5. Chopped coriander -1 tbsp
  6. Red chili powder -1/4 tsp
  7. Black pepper powder -1/2 tsp
  8. Roasted cumin powder -1 tsp
  9. Black salt -1 tsp
  10. Salt to taste

Method to prepare onion carrot raita –

  1. Beat the curd in a bowl.
  2. Now add chopped onions in it.
  3. Now add green chilies into it.
  4. Now add chopped coriander.
  5. Also add the grated carrots into it.
  6. Mix well and add the dry powdered spices in it.
  7. Mix well and serve chilled with rice/roti/parantha.
