CORN WITH PALAK PANEER, HOW TO MAKE CORN WITH PALAK PANEER RECIPE

Recipe of corn with palak paneer– a very delicious curry recipe made with spinach, corn and paneer.

Ingredients for corn with palak paneer –

  1. Palak/spinach -1 kg
  2. Paneer cubes -1 and ½ cups
  3. Sweet corn – 1 and 1/2 cups
  4. Chopped onion -1 and ½ cup
  5. Chopped tomato -2 cups
  6. Green chili-garlic-ginger paste -3 tbsp
  7. Malai -1/2 cup
  8. Red chili powder -1 tbsp
  9. Coriander powder -1 tbsp
  10. Turmeric powder -1 tsp
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Oil -3 tbsp
  13. Cumin seeds -1 tsp
  14. Bay leaf/tej patta -3-4
  15. Garam masala -1 tbsp

Method to prepare corn with palak paneer –

  1. Chop and boil the spinach with 3-4 cups of water.
  2. Now roughly grind it with hand blender.
  3. Soak the sweet corn in 3 cups of water (since I have used frozen corns, if you have fresh than boil it for a while).
  4. Now heat oil in a pan.
  5. Temper it with cumin seeds and bay leaf.
  6. Add onion in it.
  7. Now add the crushed green chili-garlic-ginger paste in it.
  8. Mix well and sauté until the onions are translucent.
  9. Now add chopped tomatoes in it.
  10. Mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  11. Now add red chili powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder into it.
  12. Mix and add salt to it.
  13. Cook well until the oil comes up.
  14. Now add the spinach puree in it.
  15. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
  16. Add sufficient water to make gravy (I have added 1 and ½ cup of water but you can add as par your necessity).
  17. Now add corn and paneer and mix.
  18. After 2-3 minutes add malai into it and mix.
  19. Now add garam masala and mix well.
  20. Switch off the flame after 2 minutes, and serve hot with rice/roti.
