A step by step recipe of bathue ka parantha –flat bread made with wheat flour and bathua, very delicious recipe to have.

Bathua is always been one of my favorite leafy vegetables. And I make variety of dishes by using it. This is one of them. This is a simple preparation of parantha made with wheat flour and bathua.

As we all know its winter season and everyone just love parantha and pakoda in this season. So I am always cooking variety of parantha for my family. And I am sharing the recipe with you all. So that you can also making these lovely and delicious paranthas at your home too.

Another recipe of roti and parantha are –makki ki roti, aloo all pyaj ka parantha, leftover daal ka parantha.

Other recipe of bathua –bathue ka rayta

Ingredients for bathue ka parantha –

  1. Wheat flour -3 cups
  2. Bathua  -3 cups
  3. Crushed garlic -2 tbsp
  4. Red chili powder -1 tbsp
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Oil as required

Method to prepare bathue ka parantha –

  1. Cut the bathua.
  2. Now add 2 cups of water to it and boil.
  3. Now strain it in a strainer.
  4. Now take the boiled bathua in your palm.
  5. And press it to drain the excess water.
  6. Now take the wheat flour in a mixing bowl.
  7. Add crushed garlic, red chili powder and salt to it.
  8. Now add the bathua in it.
  9. Mix and knead dough. (Add water if needed).
  10. Now take a small portion of the dough and make a peda of it. Sprinkle some dry flour on it.
  11. Now roll the parantha with a rolling pin.
  12. Now heat a pan or tawa and place the parantha on it.
  13. Flip it and apply oil on it. Do the same on both sides.
  14. Cook until crispy and serve hot with rayta or chutney.

Cook until crispy and serve hot with rayta or chutney.
